Target audience(s)

People who understand the climate crisis but don't feel called to action yet. People who fear being perceived as 'an activist'. People who lack a climate (justice) community. People who enjoy performing arts.

Embodying... is found in the way performing arts brings climate change back to the local, the body, the heart Learning... is found in the reframing of climate as remote to closeness Imagining... seeing yourself in the equation I think the project is aimed at organizing... creating the engagement to activate people into collective action and belonging and protecting what they love. I wonder what tools are needed to move people up on the engagement ladder from uninvolved to part of active communities Caring... is the fundamental message and practice... Empowering... this is the challenge to get people out of being a spectator (of performing arts) to a participant of a collective. I have questions around achieving this goal as community is not part of the performance as far as I have understood... so the question is ... can there be a role for the audience and for collectives on stage in this storytelling?
